    The important part: COSC certification

    This isn't simply a standard Le Locle with an ETA 2824-2. T006.408.36.057.00 is the chronometer version, with the ETA 2824-2 movement supplied/regulated to COSC chronometer standards. Contemporary descriptions specifically identify the caliber as COSC-certified.

    That's significant because the ETA 2824-2 was produced in different grades. A COSC-certified example represents a substantially more tightly regulated movement than an ordinary 2824-2.

    The watch also has an unusually interesting history: it was introduced around 2012, and sources connect this Le Locle Chronomètre to Tissot's participation and success in the Concours International de Chronométrie.

    Case and appearance

    The case is 316L stainless steel with rose-gold PVD coating, giving it the warm rose-gold appearance without being a solid-gold watch. The black dial creates a fairly striking contrast with the rose-gold-colored case and hands.

    The dial is one of the more distinctive aspects of the watch:
