    Movement

    The ETA 2824-2 is a well-known Swiss automatic movement. In this watch it provides:

    The important distinction is the COSC certification. This isn't simply a standard Le Locle Automatic: the T006.408.22.037.00 is designated as a chronometer, meaning the movement was tested and certified by COSC for accuracy under prescribed conditions.

    Case and dimensions

    The watch has a relatively conservative 39.3 mm diameter, which makes it a versatile size for a traditional dress watch. Its approximately 9.75 mm thickness also allows it to sit relatively neatly under a shirt cuff.

    The case is stainless steel with yellow-gold PVD elements. The combination is continued onto the bracelet, giving the watch its two-tone silver-and-gold appearance.

    Dial

    The silver dial is one of the defining features of this Le Locle.

    It has a guilloché/wave-pattern appearance, gold-tone hands and applied/index-style markers. Arabic numerals are used at 12, 3, 6 and 9, while the date window is positioned at 3 o'clock.

    The overall design is intentionally traditional rather than sporty, making it particularly suitable with:

    Crystal and caseback
